The pool surround is a light brown sandstone with a gully for water collection filled with black mosaic tiles and white decorative stones.The poolside area and outdoor shower area are finished in brown sand wash which provides a higher level of safety particularly for those with children who like to run around the poolside.
An outside shower is a necessity for those living close to the beach, it’s much easier to keep sand out of the house and pool if you shower beforehand. Set amongst the tropical trees and plants, the shower head is a modern chrome style with a powerful spray, set into a black slate mosaic on the wall.At the front of the villa is a good sized BBQ and dining area that offers privacy and protection from the weather, a pleasant area for relaxing and to appreciate the architecture and gardens.
Entering into the villa is possible through 3 separate patio doors of green reflective glass that take you into an open plan living area consisting of a living room and kitchen/dining room, under the stairs is also a small wc and large storage area. Although the ground floor is only one room, the granite stairs split the room into two, the area measures 11.5m x 5m – 55m2 – and is furnished in a modern style. A 52” LED TV fixed to the wall saves a lot of space and the large comfy sofa and cushions are perfect for lounging around on a lazy day.
The stairs are a real feature in the villa and unique in Phuket, manufactured from black granite they are complemented by green tempered floating glass with stainless piping for the handrails leading up to the upper levels.
The kitchen is custom fitted in modern western style with soft closing doors and drawers, options are available for 2 or 4 hobs, oven, built in microwave, and gas or electric services. Customers who buy before building is complete have the ability to choose their own kitchen design and appliances, this also applies to the fridge, in this instance a 4 door ice making chilled water machine has been installed. The ground floor is airy and cool due to the many patio doors and windows and so air con isn’t necessary, instead there are 2 remote controlled fans to assist the flow of fresh air.
The first floor landing has a choice, left or right, either will take you into a bedroom, both measure 4m x 5m, have their own ensuite bathroom, (4m x 1.70m) built in wardrobes and drawers, and plenty of electricity sockets. The built-in storage and wall mounted flat screen TV free up floor space. The bathrooms are fed by a central hot water system with the copper piping concealed in the walls so only a faucet and shower head are required. The shower cubical features tempered green glass and stainless steel, materials integrated throughout the villa.
Double patio doors lead out to individual private balconies, every bedroom has views of the pool, surrounding mountains, and landscaped tropical plants and trees found in the Soi Naya area. The balcony floor surfaces are brown sand wash for better grip and safety purposes.
The 3rd bedroom can actually be used for any number of purposes, including an office, maid or guest room, or games room. It’s slightly detached from the main villa and can either be accessed from here, or from its own spiral staircase. A space of 4m x 4.5m it has built-in wardrobes and drawers, an ensuite bathroom with hot water shower, washbasin, toilet and ventilation window. With 2 balconies of its own and double glass patio doors, you can admire the pool or the front of the villa.
From here another set of spiral stairs lead the way to the roof terrace which has water and electric connected, ready for a roof top Jacuzzi and sala. From this height it’s perfect for sitting back and enjoying the sun setting behind the hills and the evening breeze cooling everything down.
Sitauated at the back of the house is the laundry and pump room which is sealed off with glass doors so you aren’t bothered with the noise of the washing machine, it also provides a safe place to store pool cleaning materials and chemicals.
Soi Naya Villa 1 was sold in April 2010 to the first person who viewed it. Villa 2 will be completed very soon and isn’t expected to be for sale for long as this is a fashionable area that appeals to many. As the property also offers 3 bedrooms and a pool, as well as a location so close to the beach for 10,000,000, it’s guaranteed to sell very quickly, particularly as other properties surrounding the villa only offer 2 bedrooms and are up for sale at 12,500,000 – 14,000,000.
